Following reports that they were making an effort to meet the Brazilian’s increased wage demands, La Repubblica today report that the club have tabled a four-year deal with an annual salary of €1.5m.

However, the publication also assert that Neto still has ‘important offers’ to consider from Liverpool and Roma.

The Reds are seen as also offering an increase on Fiorentina’s new salary, proposing to pay Neto €1.9m-per-season.

Meanwhile, La Viola are reported by La Repubblica as not so willing to negotiate for midfielder Alberto Aquilani.

The club are believed unwilling to change their latest contract proposal with the player unless the latter accepts to reduce his wages.
