“We’ve already heard director general Giuseppe Marotta and Coach Antonio Conte talk about the next steps,” the Czech noted.
“Even after two Scudetti and an Italian Super Cup victory, there are still other targets in mind. We have to sit down and discuss how we can improve and what’s required to keep on winning.”
Although the club’s title triumph last year came as a surprise, Nedved insists this victory was more difficult.
“Everyone’s done really well, be it the Coach or the group of players,” added the 40-year-old. “I think they’ve all improved since last year’s triumph, so you can only take your hat off to them.
“Someone who symbolises the success? It’s tough to pick just one, I think the applause should go to the Coach and all the players because, like I said, everyone’s improved in so many aspects.
“Progressing in the Champions League and winning the Scudetto by this kind of margin is a really difficult thing to do.
“A great deal of credit should also go to President Andrea Agnelli. He hired this management three years ago and everyone’s putting in a lot of hard work.”
