The 34-year-old missed the majority of last term after suffering a cruciate ligament injury, but the veteran has claimed he is ready and raring to go.
“My enthusiasm is like a young boy’s,” he told a Press conference. “The game of football is beautiful at any age.
“I’m glad to have not missed a single day’s work.
“I hope to play this season without any physical problems – that’s my main goal.
“Next week is going to be crucial if we are ready for the challenge of the League and Coppa Italia.”
