If Zenit are happy with the offer, then they should let Witsel go, and the player could sign as early as this Thursday, when he is due to return in Belgium from his holidays.

His deal with the Vesuviani would see him earning €3.2m per season on a four-year contract. His image rights will go to president Aurelio De Laurentiis, as is the custom for players signed by the film mogul, but in exchange he is allowed to retain his deal with his current sponsor.

As soon as the Witsel affair has been settled, Napoli will move decisively for Juventus' Pereira, who will cost €18m in total.

Apparently a meeting is scheduled with the player's agents today, in which they will discuss terms for a move to Napoli.
