Napoli are reportedly interested in Real Madrid youngster Achraf Hakimi as a backup to Elseid Hysaj.

Hysaj was a regular at both right-back and deputised in an unfamiliar left-back role last season, following Faouzi Ghoulam’s injury.

However, new Coach Carlo Ancelotti is likely to rotate more than his predecessor Maurizio Sarri, and the Albanian’s deputy Christian Maggio is out of contract.

Therefore, reports Sky Italia, the Partenopei have turned their attention to 19-year-old Hakimi, who made 17 appearances for Los Blancos last season.
