Southampton are reportedly closer than ever to Manolo Gabbadini, but Napoli want a sell-on clause.
Negotiations have intensified between the two clubs this week, and it’s thought a deal could be done for €16m plus €4m in bonuses.
Parteneopei President Aurelio De Laurentiis is determined to get at least €20m for the forward, and that offer would more-or-less achieve that.

Parteneopei President Aurelio De Laurentiis is determined to get at least €20m for the forward, and that offer would more-or-less achieve that.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport believes that De Laurentiis also wants a percentage of any future fee which the Saints receive for Gabbiadini.
The forward doesn’t fit with the plans of Coach Maurizio Sarri, but the patron believes in his quality and doesn’t want to see Gabbiadini explode in the Premier League and be sold for big money.
