Napoli's Mirko Valdifiori could head to Torino this summer in order to find some playing time again.

The 30-year-old midfielder followed Coach Maurizio Sarri from Empoli to the Vesuviani, but the transfer didn't go as planned.

Valdifiori is currently working in the shadow of Jorginho, and is unlikely to get any more playing time under a Coach who relies very heavily on his favourite starting XI.

According to Tuttosport, the situation may be resolved should Torino, an old suitor of the Italian before he went to Napoli, show some interest.

Valdifiori could then join the Granata and recover the protagonism that he lost, while providing them with a solid playmaker.

The two teams will meet this Sunday in Turin, for an evening game at 19:45, and they may take the opportunity to discuss the possible transfer. It is unclear yet whether Valdifiori would go as a sale or as a loan deal.
