According to Calciomercato.it, the club who's ahead in terms of negotiations at the moment is Torino, who have a deal in place with Sunderland. They are looking to buy the player for €2m, and they are offering a three-year contract.

Napoli, however, are also looking to make a blitz for the player. Gazzamercato.it reports that they have renounced Lazio's Antonio Candreva, considering the winger too expensive for his age, and they need an alternative for his position.

If the Partenopei move quickly, they could close the operation in as little as 24 hours, but they can't afford to leave it too long or Torino will seal the deal.
