Napoli have joined Juventus, Arsenal and Manchester United in pursuit of Roma defender Kostas Manolas, who is available for €36m.

The Greek international’s contract includes a surprisingly low release clause of just €36m and it is open to clubs inside Italy too.

He had been linked with Juve or a move abroad to Arsenal or Manchester United.

Now Il Tempo newspaper suggests Napoli are ready to make an offer too, seeing Manolas as an ideal heir to Raul Albiol, able to partner Kalidou Koulibaly.
