Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been one of the stars of the show in Serie A this season and Napoli are keen to guarantee his long-term future in the Campania capital.

The 21-year-old Georgian winger joined the club from Dinamo Batumi in the summer in a deal worth around €10m, adding a relatively unknown talent to their squad to replace long-term fan favourite Lorenzo Insigne.

Kvaratskhelia majorly exceeded expectations in Naples and has shined this season, scoring eight goals and providing 10 assists across 17 Serie A and Champions League appearances. His dazzling work on the ball has attracted the attention of many across Europe, making him one of the most exciting players in Italy.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli are ready to offer Kvaratskhelia a new contract, doubling his current salary of €1.2m net per season and pushing back his deal to June 2028.

His agent has agreed to sit down with sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli in the coming weeks to iron out an agreement.
