He only made the move from Empoli last summer for €5m, but his profile rose dramatically after Euro 2016.
According to Sportitalia, Hysaj’s agent has worked out the details of a new contract to reflect international interest.
The deal will run to June 2021 and be worth €1.4m per year plus bonuses, rising to €2m net by the final campaign.
