Napoli confirmed Poland striker Arkadiusz Milik is out for around six months with a ruptured ACL he sustained on international duty.
The 22-year-old sustained the injury in his left knee during last night’s 3-2 win over Denmark.
An initial diagnosis was made in Poland, then he flew to Rome today for a specialist visit at the Villa Stuart clinic.
These tests confirmed there is a complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

It was originally believed to be a partial tear, which would've made the recovery process closer to four months, but Napoli's tests showed the ligament is totally severed.
Milik will undergo surgery tomorrow at the same clinic and only then will the diagnosis be finalised, but it's believed with this type of injury he'll be sidelined for at least five to six months.
He had a sensational start to his career with Napoli, scoring four Serie A goals in seven games and three Champions League strikes in two appearances.
