President Aurelio De Laurentiis declared in today’s edition of the Corriere dello Sport newspaper that there were three “untouchable” players in the Partenopei squad – Kalidou Koulibaly, Marko Rog and Zielinski.

According to the Corriere del Mezzogiorno, Napoli aim to make that official by getting the Poland international midfielder to sign a new contract.

It’ll not only improve his wages and extend from 2021 to 2023, but above all remove the €65m release clause.

There were fears that Maurizio Sarri would get Chelsea to pay that figure in order to have Zielinski at Stamford Bridge, but new Coach Carlo Ancelotti is determined to keep the 24-year-old.
