Feyenoord defender Daryl Janmaat has been linked with a switch to Stadio San Paolo before, and has previously admitted to wanting to move to Italy.
His transfer is thought to be all-but a guarantee, but Napoli are also keen on Ajax’s 21-year-old attacking midfielder Davy Klaassen.
The youngster has been a revelation for the champions this term, leading to a first international call-up for Holland.
