The Azzurri have already handed over €50m to the Spanish giants this summer after netting the trio of Jose Callejon, Raul Albiol and Gonzalo Higuain.
Reports today suggest that Napoli boss Rafa Benitez has identified Arbeloa, a full-back, as a possible defensive reinforcement.
Benitez knows the €12m-rated player well given that they both worked together in the past with Premiership side Liverpool.
