More details from the violent clashes between Napoli and Eintracht Frankfurt fans are emerging, revealing the dangers on the streets on the night of their Champions League game.

Around 600 Eintracht ultras travelled to the Campania capital for the match, despite the fact that the sale of tickets had been restricted to residents of the city of Frankfurt. The tension had been brewing for some time and things quickly ignited in the streets of Naples.

Canal Plus details how six police offers were injured during the clashes between Napoli and Eintracht fans, with one officer ending up in the emergency room at the hospital. His condition is not considered serious.

Grégory Sertic, a former Bordeaux and Olympique Marseille player, found himself in the thick of the fight, being involved in a fight outside the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

Two Eintracht fans were stabbed and at one point a service pistol disappeared, which was luckily found and secured soon after.

An ANM driver also suffered injuries, being wounded by shards of glass from a shattered windscreen which hit him in the eye. He was transported to the Emergency Room of the Old Pellegrini Hospital in Pignasecca and his condition is also not serious.
