The Partenopei are expected to pay a fee in the region of €40-45m for the Mexican, who would have already agreed a five-year contract worth around €4.5m a season.

However, Radio Kiss Kiss is reporting Raiola brought up Icardi, with the representative acting on behalf of the Inter striker.

Tuttomercatoweb goes one step further, claiming the possibility of a swap deal involving Mauro Icardi and Lorenzo Insigne was discussed.

The Inter striker would fit the bill for the Partenopei, while the Nerazzurri see the Napoli captain as the ideal partner for Romelu Lukaku.

With that in mind, TMW suggests Lozano could replace the Neapolitan as opposed to being an alternative option in attack.
