It took just seven minutes for Carlo Ancelotti’s side to take the lead, Milik firing in a stunning left-footed shot from outside of the box.
Maksimovic made it 2-0 with a header from Simone Verdi’s corner, giving the Partenopei a 2-0 half-time lead.
