According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Vesuviani are now going full-throttle for Immobile, who spent the last season on loan from Borussia Dortmund to Sevilla and then to Torino.

Sevilla have a compulsory option to buy and they are the go-to club for the signing of the Azzurro. They are asking for €11m, a price the Italians are unwilling to pay.

It remains to be seen whether Immobile will be happy with a prospect which already scared off Lapadula, though Napoli are known to be the team he supported as a child.
