Reports in Japan claim that Inter will complete the signing of Yuto Nagatomo from Cesena for €8.5m.

The Japanese international has been on loan with the Nerazzurri for the past six months, but, according to Sankei Sports, he will now remain.

It is claimed that Inter will hand over €6.5m in cash, plus one or two youth players as part of the deal.

The 25-year-old will also reportedly earn €2m a season from the San Siro giants.

The report does confirm what Cesena sporting director Lorenzo Minotti suggested on Saturday afternoon.

The report does confirm what Cesena sporting director Lorenzo Minotti suggested on Saturday afternoon.

"I think his transfer is just a formality," the former Parma player and Italian international told Radio Sportiva.

"A deal was pretty much already agreed in January, but then there were a few bureaucratic problems. The signatures are just missing now."
