Yuto Nagatomo has paid tribute to his club and international teammates after the Inter man was named  Asian Player of the Year.

“I'm happy and honoured to have received this award, but it's not just for me,” the defender told Inter Channel.

“I have to thank all of my teammates who allow me to play to my best level, as well as the fans who support me.

The 27-year-old, however, admits that he’s not yet the finished product and is looking to continue his growth at San Siro.

“I still have to improve a lot and I'll work very hard to do so as I have to progress,” continued the former Cesena man.
