Bortolo Mutti is fresh from thrashing Lazio 5-1, but wants the next step up from Palermo against Siena. “We want our first away win.”

The Sicilians are under their third Coach of the campaign after Stefano Pioli and Devis Mangia, but their record outside the Stadio Barbera remains disastrous with four draws, eight defeats and only seven goals scored.

“We tried to get the win with Inter and Cagliari” data-scaytid=”40″>Cagliari, going pretty close. We must continue along this path and with determination fight to find our first away win,” said Mutti.

“It won’t be easy at Siena, but we’ve got to give it everything we have. I’m sure Siena won’t be demoralised after two consecutive defeats. In fact, it’ll be a high tension match.”

Mutti has a contract to the end of the season and realises Palermo is not a particularly stable club for tacticians.

“My future is only what happens day to day. I’ll try to do well and then the club will decide. I am happy with what we are doing and don’t know if my confirmation will be tied to achieving any particular result.”
