Tension was already sky high as Icardi is engaged to Wanda Nara, the ex-wife of his ex-teammate and ex-friend Maxi Lopez, and they are set to be married on June 7.
“What did I say to Icardi? I didn’t speak to him, because I have lost all respect I had for him,” commented Sampdoria defender Shkodran Mustafi.
“I just hope somebody will sooner or later make him realise all the stupid things he’s done.”
Icardi continued the feud over the last few days with insulting messages on Twitter, including a photograph of him making the Italian hand signal for a cuckold.
Maxi Lopez, Wanda and Icardi went on vacation together and were firm friends before she left her husband for the Inter forward.
