Federico Chiesa’s mum has responded to some Fiorentina fans on Instagram explaining why her son is ‘not a traitor.’
Chiesa joined Juventus on a €60m deal from Fiorentina last summer. On paper, Juve have signed the player on a two-year loan with an option to buy but the Old Lady are going to sign him on a permanent deal.
“I would have betrayed you if he hadn’t fight for the shirt when he was wearing it,” she wrote on Instagram.

When another Fiorentina fan told her the Chiesa family “only care about the money” and that her son asked Fiorentina the same money Juve offered him she replied.
“Nothing of what you are saying is true. You are free to think whatever you want, I repeat he didn’t betray.”
