Claudio Ranieri’s Inter were beaten 3-0 by Bologna and Chelsea were held 1-1 in the FA Cup by Birmingham City, piling more pressure on Andre Villas-Boas.
“My message to the fans is I love Chelsea and Inter a great deal but I would prefer them to support their own teams and coaches,” said Real Madrid boss Mourinho.
“I am the past, a very good past, but I am not there anymore and they should all be fighting together.”
Meanwhile, the list of potential caretaker managers at Inter is growing beyond first choice Luis Figo alongside current assistant manager Beppe Baresi.
Another option is former Nerazzurri defender and fan favourite Materazzi, who only retired in the summer.
Matrix was one of the key figures under Mourinho, but rescinded his contract a year early when it became clear he would not be given much playing time.
Materazzi would to all intents and purposes be only a figurehead to keep the fans happy and fire up the locker room, as he has absolutely no coaching experience.
Inter could bring back another of their former players, as Zenga has forged a career for himself as a Coach in various different countries, including Italy, Serbia and Dubai.
