Pino Iodice claims he has “far worse” recorded phone calls featuring “threats” from Lazio President Claudio Lotito.

The director of Lega Pro side Ischia released the first call to La Repubblica, sparking a huge storm around Lotito and FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio.

“This isn’t the only audio recording at my disposal,” Iodice told Radio Ies this evening.

“I have other evidence to show how Claudio Lotito threatened me. He threatened to take away the finances we were owed if we didn’t support his governance.

“The recording I released represents only one of many phone calls between Claudio Lotito and me.

“How can he talk about Beretta as a President who counts for nothing? Or of Carpi and Frosinone as clubs who shouldn’t be in Serie A because they bring little income?

“Unfortunately in the football that matters the decisions are made ad hoc by those who are most important. This is very serious and completely unacceptable.

“If Beretta, Tavecchio, Abodi and Macalli have the slightest sense of decency, they should immediately resign.

“I repeat, I have other recordings around these situations that are much more serious. I haven’t gone mad: I went public with this because I have important evidence in my hands.

“I chose to release this recording first to shake things up, as you can really understand who Lotito is. I hope someone in authority will intervene.

“This is not just a matter for Lega Pro, but for all of Italian football.”
