Inter President Massimo Moratti hopes tonight's match against Twente can be “the turning point” and reiterated his faith in Rafa Benitez.

“I hope this game can be the turning point. Clearly we all have to hope this is the case and do what we can to make it happen,” said the patron on Sky Sport Italia.

“A lot depends on how hungry and fired up the team is. Benitez was calm last night, he does what is necessary.

“Before games I always see all the necessary grit and determination. The problem is maintaining it during the 90 minutes.

“This is one of those bad periods of form and I hope it goes well tonight.”

Moratti declared before the 2-1 defeat to Chievo on Sunday that he would stick with Benitez even if Inter lost the match.

He was asked the same question again ahead of tonight's Champions League outing with Twente.

“I won't say it, as it brought bad luck against Chievo! The truth is that I am not even considering it.”
