Massimo Moratti has confirmed that he will not return to Inter as “I’ve already done what I had to do”.

Suning Group were reportedly considering the idea of appointing Moratti as Inter President for a second spell, but the veteran tycoon admits his future with the Nerazzurri is only as a fan.

“It seems to me that [Pioli’s] passion was transmitted to the team as they played with so much character,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport, beginning by commenting on Sunday’s Derby della Madonnina.
