Alvaro Morata is set to forgo €7m in wages in order to sign for Juventus, according to reports.

CalcioMercato claim that the Real Madrid striker has set his sights on the Bianconeri, despite being offered vastly more money in wages by Wolfsburg.

The website believes that the Bundesliga outfit has tabled a wage package of around €17.5m over five years for the Spain Under-21 international, whilst Antonio Conte’s men have offered €10.5m.

Despite that discrepancy though, Morata has decided to sign for the Serie A giants as he prefers the project in Turin.

The player has agreed on a switch, now Juve just have to sit down and negotiate with the European champions.
