“Biglia and Romagnoli? I’m really sorry not to have them at my disposal yet,” began the Coach.
“Alessio’s always been training in the group, while Lucas wants to get back to working daily with us.
“With Romagnoli, we’d have the chance to play with three at the back because he’s left-footed and he’d complete the [defensive] department with the others.
“Their recovery times? I don’t know, but this week looks good for Romagnoli.
“Defence? It’s not always true that defences win you the Scudetto. If you score only a few goals but don’t concede much, you don’t necessarily win [the title].
“The team harmony counts, to be able to attack with 11 and defend with 11. We’re growing a lot physically. We have great legs in training and I’m happy with how this first part of the season is going.
“Kalinic’s arrival? I’d like to answer that but I’ll try not to give away too much. However, I can say that he’s a player that’s compatible with our style of play, he’s selfless and he knows how to move in any game situation.
“Maybe he’s not a pure ‘bomber’, but I like him a lot.
“Differences between Shkendija and Craiova? [Shkendija] have more official games in their legs, including thre preliminary rounds of the Europa League.
“After that, they come [into the tie] from a victory over the current Macedonian champions. They have clear ideas on how to play and, in attack, they have a talented and unpredictable player like Ibraimi.
“Complicated game? It depends on us. They’re very organised but we have to think about our objective.
“This mini-cycle is important, even if we’ve only just started. We’re playing in the Europa League and then our first League game, and I hope the team never lets me down.
“I repeat, we’ve only just started but it’s already important.”
