Lazio
The light blue shirt with the kit supplier in white is a nice touch, but what really makes this shirt sing is the old school eagle on the badge.
Lazio brought out a special shirt in the 2015-16 with their symbol emblazoned across the front, and it was widely hailed as one of the greatest recent Serie A kits.
This season the Aquila is on the badge, with its wings matching the colour of the shirt sponsor.
Kit rating: 9/10 – Minimalist and retro, this shirt ticks all the boxes for a classic Serie A shirt.
Juventus
The Serie A champions have also gone for an old-school feel with their kits, following last year’s split stripe number.
Juventus have changed their badge for the coming season, and while the new design is a winner on the yellow and blue away kit, it still looks jarring on the famous black and white stripes.
This shirt was accidentally revealed early, after Juan Cuadrado posted a photo of himself wearing it on Twitter.
Kit rating: 8/10 – This could have been a straight-up 10/10, but that new badge will take some getting used to.
Milan
The Rossoneri are looking to get back to the top with their new Chinese ownership, so it’s only right they’ve gone for a classic design.
Classic red and black stripes, black collar and cuffs, this is the best shirt Milan have had for years.
The white shorts also feature a handsome red and black three stripe design, while it appears Milan have stopped experimenting with three different badges.
Kit rating: 9/10 – Put the Adidas stripes on the shoulder under the sleeves as in the Juve shirt and this would have been an easy 10.
Napoli
In keeping with their summer transfer campaign, the Partenopei kit focuses on evolution rather than revolution.
A darker collar adorns this season’s shirt, while there is now only one Kappa symbol on the arms, but otherwise this is much the same as last season’s effort.
Kit rating: 7/10 – A fine kit, but points off for having two sponsors on the front.
Roma
The lack of a shirt sponsor has been a source of frustration for Roma President James Pallotta, but it really helps to give this shirt an old school feel.
The sleeves feature a slightly darker red than the body, with nice yellow flashes along the collar line.
The black outline around the badge is also striking, and the Derby della Capitale will certainly be sartorially pleasing this season at the very least.
Kit rating: 9/10 – A classy looking kit, which could perhaps only have been improved by the classic, round, wolf head badge.
