Juventus are on the verge of selling midfielder Denis Zakaria to AS Monaco after his loan spell at Chelsea and talks with West Ham United.

Multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and Calciomercato.com are all confident a deal has been struck for €18m including various bonuses.

There are still discussions over the formula of the transfer, as Monaco want it to be a loan with obligation to buy if certain conditions are met, whereas the Bianconeri would prefer an immediate fee.

The Switzerland international was a purchase from Borussia Monchengladbach for €10m in January 2022, but barely made a handful of appearances for the club.

He was sent out on loan to Chelsea last season at a cost of €3m and did not play much for them either, so the Premier League side did not take up their option to make the move permanent.

Zakaria had also been in negotiations with West Ham this summer.
