Luciano Moggi has claimed that Arkadiusz Milik is ‘more suited’ to Juventus than Mauro Icardi, who ‘would never see the ball’.

The two strikers have been linked with moves to Juve in recent days, but Moggi was under no illusions as to which one was a better fit for the Bianconeri.

“I don’t know what will happen, but when I hear about Mauro Icardi I have to rule him out,” the Old Lady’s ex-general manager told Canale 21.

“If right now Gonzalo Higuain willingly sits on the bench because Paulo Dybala and Cristiano Ronaldo play, imagine Icardi…

“With the system Juve use, he would never play and he’d always be a second choice to Dybala and Ronaldo, two players who shoot and score a lot.

“Icardi, in short, would never see the ball. He’s very good in the box, but he needs a team game.

“He would be much more suitable for Napoli. It’s been said he could go to Milan, but I don’t know about that.

“Milik is more suited to Juventus, who need a presence in the box. On the other hand, he could suffer due to the presence of Ronaldo and Dybala, who like to come inside, because Juventus won’t change their midfield and a front three isn’t sustainable.”
