Former Juventus directors Luciano Moggi and Antonio Giraudo have lost their appeal against a lifetime ban from football.

They were part of the famous Triade, along with Roberto Bettega, who were in charge of the club during the Calciopoli scandal.

The Federal Court of the FIGC today rejected Moggi and Giraudo's appeal against a lifetime ban from football.

A statement released today confirmed the original sentence from the Disciplinary Commission on June 15.

Moggi's lawyers had asked for it to be considered past the statute of limitations, which is the same rule that prosecutor Stefano Palazzi used to suggest Inter could not be stripped of the 2006 Scudetto.

Former FIGC Vice-President Innocenzo Mazzini also lost his appeal and remains banned.
