The 34-year-old’s future in Italy is in doubt given that the centre-forward is only contracted until June.

“I have no problems with Inter,” the South American noted. “This is my family and this is my home.

“But, as I’ve already said before, I want to end my playing days with Racing Avellaneda where my career started.

“I have so many great memories of my time there, but you need two to get married so we’ll have to wait and see.

“Anyway, everything is well with Inter.”

Milito spent four years with Racing before his 2003 move to Genoa. He’s also played for Real Zaragoza in his career.

The attacker joined Inter in 2009 and has scored 75 goals in 156 games for the Beneamata.
