The Disciplinary commission has fined Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik for “simulation” in the opponent’s penalty area during the match against Lecce.

Milik has been punished with a fine of €2,000 by Serie A’s governing body, who revealed the verdict of the controversial episode in the 73rd minute of the match between the Giallorossi and the Partenopei.

The images showed some contact, but the Poland international was booked by the match official Antonio Giua and now the commission have asked him to pay a fine “for having simulated to be a subject of a foul in the opponent’s penalty area”.

Milik scored during the match, but couldn't prevent the Azzurri from losing 3-2 on Sunday and they are currently 11th in Serie A after 23 games.
