Spanish paper Super Deporte claim Napoli offered Arkadiusz Milik as part of an exchange deal with Valencia, but Rodrigo refused the transfer.

Their interest in Rodrigo is not new and he’s seen as an alternative to Inter hitman Mauro Icardi.

According to Super Deporte online edition, the Partenopei tried to tempt Valencia into a swap with Poland international centre-forward Milik.

This in itself would be surprising, as Milik had until now been considered an unwavering figure in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

The same report states that Rodrigo expressed doubts over the Stadio San Paolo destination and was not eager to pursue the matter further.

La Gazzetta dello Sport had pointed to an offer worth €50m plus €10m in bonuses.
