Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik admits his cautious return to the pitch is down to him – “how I feel is much more important than what the doctor says”.

The Polish forward has had two serious knee injuries in the past two seasons, and since recovering from the latest he’s played a total of just 27 minutes across three substitute appearances.

“The doctor decides whether a player is ready or not,” Milik explained to TVP Sport in his homeland.
