Arkadiusz Milik has rued Napoli’s failure in Europe this season but is confident ‘we can still grow a lot’.
Milik looks destined to end the campaign as Napoli’s top goalscorer, but the Partenopei were eliminated from the Champions League at the group stage and crashed out of the Europa League to Arsenal.
“We came close to eliminating Liverpool,” the striker told Sky Sport Italia.
“We lacked something, like the last-minute goal we conceded in Paris or my chance at the end of the game against Liverpool.

“It was also a shame not to beat the Gunners in the Europa League. Unfortunately that’s football.
“We finished in second place, even if it wasn’t our objective. We can still grow a lot, and we’ll prepare even better for next season.”
