The Rossoneri did the bare minimum to get through their Champions League group and are on a Serie A roll which they intend to maintain on Sunday.

“We know that we cannot make mistakes like the ones we made against Viktoria Plzen, especially at the end,” he said of their 2-0 lead fumbled for a 2-2 draw.

“I hope it can be a useful lesson ahead of tomorrow’s game with Bologna. We know the Rossoblu are a strong side and saw it midweek against Juventus” data-scaytid=”9″>Juventus in the Coppa Italia.

“From now until the Christmas break, we have three matches to play, therefore nine points, and must try to get the maximum result.

“I am certain that the Scudetto will be a race between us, Juventus, who will fight to the end, Napoli and Udinese. Last season we won the title three rounds from the end, but this term I’d be happy with the penultimate match.”

Allegri surprised many by naming his starting XI for tomorrow’s encounter at the Stadio Dall’Ara, including Alexandre Pato and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Naturally, talk around the Rossoneri has been focused around the personal terms agreed with Manchester City striker Tevez.

“During the break we will evaluate everything along with the club. We’ve got clear ideas, so if Tevez doesn’t arrive then I am happy with my squad.

“It’s always better to have champions alongside you than against you. If Tevez does arrive, then we’d have the best strike force in the world!”
