Milan hope to reach an agreement for Arnaut Danjuma or Yunus Musah in time for the pre-season tour in the USA, but Everton are also pushing for the Villarreal forward.

Wednesday’s printed edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (page 8) claims Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada are in advanced talks with Villarreal and Valencia. Coach Stefano Pioli is pushing to see at least one of them at Milanello on Friday when the Rossoneri will fly out to the USA for a pre-season tour.

Gazzetta confirms Villarreal are open to loaning out Danjuma after his six-month spell at Tottenham last season, but Milan seem unwilling to pay more than €2.5m for the striker’s temporary transfer. Everton are also ‘pushing’ to sign the ex-Spurs loanee, claims Gazzetta.

Milan are also in talks with Valencia for USMNT international Musah, who would become Milan’s third signing in midfield this summer.

The La Liga side have set their asking price at €25m, while Milan have offered €18m. The 20-year-old has already agreed on personal terms with the Rossoneri.

Il Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport confirm the American midfielder with an Italian passport has shaken hands with Milan and that Pioli would like to work with him starting from the pre-season tour in the USA.
