Milan target Sven Botman scored against Gigio Donnarumma in Lille’s 5-1 loss against PSG last night and according to reports in Italy, Tottenham Hotspur have joined the race to sign the defender in the summer.

Botman received offers from Milan and Newcastle United in January, but his club refused to sell him during the winter transfer window.

Last week, the Netherlands international claimed that he feels ready for a new step in his career, opening doors to a possible move away from Lille in the summer.

Milan and Newcastle remain interested in signing him, but according to Calciomercato.com, Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur have also shown interest in the 22-year-old.

Last night, Botman scored Lille’s only goal in their home 5-1 defeat against PSG. Ironically, he found the net against former Milan goalkeeper Gigio Donnarumma who played his 10th Ligue 1 game with PSG this season.

Lille won the French title last term but are going through a disappointing campaign, sitting 11th in the Ligue 1 table this season.
