Adriano Galliani “trusts that Gianluigi Donnarumma’s contract will be extended” by Milan, “as soon as he becomes an adult”.
Donnarumma does not turn 18 until next February, meaning he is currently unable to sign a professional contract with Milan or any other club and that his present deal is due to expire in 2018, but Galliani has vowed to waste no time in tying the teenager down early next year.
“Donnarumma is a minor and has a contract until 2018,” the Vice-President told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Donnarumma is a minor and has a contract until 2018,” the Vice-President told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“As soon as he becomes an adult, I trust that his contract will be extended. I don’t know whether he’s being watched by milanisti, juventini or interisti, but there’s no case with Donnarumma, absolutely not.”
Galliani then turned his attention to Milan’s match against Juventus in Serie A on Saturday, which saw him rue a past “regret”.
“The atmosphere is good at Milanello, very good. As always, the results help. We enter the game on the back of a positive run, so it’s clear that there is a good atmosphere,” he added.
“We haven’t fought [for the Scudetto] for four years. They’ve won it five seasons and I’ll always regret 2012 [Sulley Muntari’s disallowed goal].
“Apart from that hard-fought campaign, they’ve won the others in a big way. They’re the best team in Italy.
“Milan are doing well, we’ve won 16 points in 8 games and 13 in our last five, so it’s clear that we’re coming from a very good spell.
“Tomorrow evening, however, we’re facing by far the best team in Italy. It’ll be difficult, but Milan will be in good health.”
