Milan are ready to battle rivals Inter on the transfer market, as well as several Premier League clubs, for Torino defender Gleison Bremer.

The Rossoneri are known to be seeking defensive reinforcements, as Alessio Romagnoli will leave when his contract expires on June 30 and seems to be heading towards Lazio.

Although Fikayo Tomori and Pierre Kalulu forged a strong partnership, more experience is required going into the Champions League for the second season in a row.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, as Sven Botman of Lille has a €30m asking price and offers on the table from Newcastle United at much higher salaries, Milan are instead turning towards Bremer.

The Brazilian recently turned 25 and is under contract with Torino until June 2024, but is widely expected to leave this summer for circa €25m.

Although there is Premier League interest from the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, Bremer seems eager to remain in Serie A and Inter are currently the favourites for his signature.

Inter might still have the upper hand because he has impressed so much playing in Torino’s three-man defence, a tactical approach shared by Simone Inzaghi.

Milan could potentially step in and poach the Brazilian from under the noses of their city rivals, especially now that new owners RedBird are ready to fund an expensive transfer window.

4 thought on “Milan can fight Inter and Tottenham for Bremer”
  1. He is fast and honestly his style is more suited to Milan’s style of play, not considering the three-man defense.

Coincidentally, Botman seems more like an Inter kind of defender. He’s very similar to De Vrij and Skriniar, and is left-footed. Isn’t Bastoni leaving?!

  2. I prefer this guy instead Botman to be honest. Vastly proved in a high profile league, and against good opposition, he would be perfect for Inter or Milan. Hopefully, for Milan lol

  3. Bastoni is not leaving, Bremer is De Vrij upgrade.

Bremer already gave his words months ago that he is joining Inter, club just needs to find an agreement with Torino.

  4. Inter will try and get this and other deals done in June before the takeover because clubs will be asking crazy money for even mediocre players after.
