“It was a good victory. The game was fundamental, we had to win it at all costs. The lads did well, we created chances and we deserved our victory.
“But I want to thank the supporters who always had our back and who still had it today.
“Diego Lopez is an important goalkeeper, but recently I saw him struggling. This isn't a permanent demotion, it's perfectly normal.
“Donnarumma is a good player and I don't care about his age. It's my decision and I'll take responsibility for it.
“We'll see if he'll play against Chievo. There's plenty of time between now and Wednesday.
“Sassuolo's draw? I never even thought I'd lose the match.”
The Serbian was then asked about Alessio Cerci, who has been given limited space with the Rossoneri so far.
“I know him well and I know what he can offer. He plays in his role and he's a footballer capable of skipping past defenders.
“If he's shown faith, he can do well. We don't have many strikers available and we must know how to handle our matches.”
