Fiorentina boss Sinisa Mihajlovic insists he has faith in Artur Boruc despite the goalkeeper's costly error in the loss at Roma.
The Polish international is now the club's first choice custodian following the serious knee injury suffered by Sebastien Frey. The latter will be out for six months.
Boruc has wanted an opportunity to play since his summer arrival from Celtic, but he was clearly to blame for Roma's third goal in their 3-2 win over the Viola on Wednesday.

"His mistake? These things happen in football and he knows that as well," said the former Catania tactician.
"It is true that Roma's third goal was a gift, but that doesn't really change anything," continued the Serbian.
"Despite what occurred, he remains a worthy replacement for the injured Frey."
Boruc will keep his place in the starting XI for this weekend's home tie against Cesena.
The Viola need the points after a sluggish start to the season which has included five defeats in 11 games.
