Bologna coach Sinisa Mihajlovic believes their 0-0 draw against Atalanta ‘is not a perfect result’ but concedes it’s not easy to pick a draw against La Dea.
“It’s not a perfect result, it would be had we won without conceding,” Mihajlovic told DAZN.
“However, not everybody can draw against Atalanta. Today we saw the team spirit and our desire not to concede goals. We were also affected by the pitch, we also like to play the ball.
“We suffered a little bit in the first half, but the second half was balanced. We don’t have problems in scoring goals, we had two chances with Arnautovic and Orsolini, everybody accomplished their duties, this is the right spirit,” he added.
“I hope nobody gets injured during the international break. There are 14 or 15 players who will leave, it’s a great satisfaction for Bologna to have so many international players.
“We can improve under many aspects,” the coach continued.
“It’s impossible to do the same things, hoping for a different result. We are sorry for the Coppa Italia elimination, but we have shown the right spirit since.”
