And the forward has commended the former midfielder, whilst admitting that he wants to stay at the Marassi for the foreseeable future.
“Mihajlovic has united the group,” he told Sky Sport Italia, “There was something that didn’t work earlier in the season.
“But he has hit the right keys and has brought character back to the team.
“I think he is destined to Coach a huge club, but I hope he stays here at Sampdoria for a long time yet.
“Personally, I want to stay at Samp for several years.”
