“I just want to reiterate that I did not offend or insult the Fourth Official. I asked for an explanation, perhaps getting the tone wrong, but I never received my reply.
“That’s not right if we are all together on the field collaborating for the greater good. As everyone knows, I never comment on refereeing decisions or action replays after the games, whether good or bad.
“I am one of the few Coaches who does that and always tell my players not to discuss referees in interviews. I consider these choices to be a show of respect for the officials and this is why I want respect when I ask for decision to be explained to me on the touchline.”
