Sinisa Mihajlovic has been officially discharged from Sant’Orsola Hospital, with “satisfactory” conditions for the coach to continue his work at Bologna.

The Serbian announced in July that he had been diagnosed with leukaemia and has only coached Bologna from the sidelines when he was allowed to by his doctors.

Now, the hospital where he has been receiving chemotheraphy has confirmed that the 50-year-old successfully checked out this morning.

Now, the hospital where he has been receiving chemotheraphy has confirmed that the 50-year-old successfully checked out this morning.

“He was discharged today, on November 22, 2019, from the Seragnoli Institute of Haematology,” read a club statement.

“He was released after having undergone a bone marrow transplant from a non-related donor on October 29.

“The patient’s general condition and haematological examinations are satisfactory.”

It comes after his wife admitted “there isn’t a more beautiful thing” than him leaving hospital for a third time.
